However, as players start getting into the higher Masterwork levels they’ll need to invest more rare items like the aforementioned shards and cores.Īfter players have maxed out the Masterwork levels for a specific weapon, they can choose between a game mode specific tracking for PvE and Crucible Bungie explains that the initial Masterwork tiers will be achieved relatively easily, increased by spending a rather abundant resource in Glimmer. This retooled Masterwork system will give all weapons Masterwork levels to attain, that will have 10 tiers which players will need to invest Glimmer, Legendary Shards, and Masterwork Cores to attain.
Today in a livestream reveal, Bungie detailed what changes to expect to weapons customization in Destiny 2 following the release of the Forsaken, and a lot of it has to do with expanding the Masterwork and Mod systems of the game.
